Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Systems Engineer to join our Surya team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities and a solid background in IT networking. This role involves providing server and network administration support within our organization. Key responsibilities include developing, configuring, maintaining, and documenting all new and existing server, storage, and virtualization hardware.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage network systems, including firewalls and access points.
• Troubleshoot and install printers and electronic devices.
• Configure and oversee laptops, desktops, and servers.
• Handle asset management and procurement processes.
• Administer databases and oversee backup and disaster recovery.
• Configure and install applications on IIS and Nginx.

Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of computer and OS architecture (Linux, Windows).
• Proficiency in networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, etc.) and virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware).
• Experience with routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Batch) and hardware diagnostics.
• Valid certifications: RHCSA or MCSA, and CCNA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field, or a diploma with 2 years of experience.
• Excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to work from the office and ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
